Putting the patriotic back into desserts

I love to come up with different dessert recipes and decorations for when I'm fixing food for special events. It just makes it that much more fun! I love to be creative when it comes to that. But I like to make sure that I don't pay more attention to how my creations are decorated than how they actually taste. Besides, that's why you're actually eating it!

I was looking online to get some inspiration about what I could do as far as desserts go. As I was doing that I ran across the site http://www.hearingaids.Miracle-Ear.com and after i read through it some I decided to sign up for a free hearing test to determine if I actually really needed hearing aids like I think that I do. We'll see what the verdict comes out to be.

I'm going to try and dye the batter for this flat cake that I'm making so that it will have layers that are red white and blue! We'll see if it actually works out like I think that it will. I'm not sure how much hope I have for it though.
